One of the great gardens of Somerset
Milton Lodge gardens were set up in about 1900 by Mr Charles Tudway, the present owner’s great grandfather.
There is a series of architectural terraces in the garden: The Central Terrace with mixed planting of shrubs and perennials; The Upper Terrace with stunning views of Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor and the Vale of Avalon; The Sundial Terrace with old roses; The Pool Terrace with the swimming pool and Low growing shrubs and perennials; The Combe with fine old trees and The Lilly Pond with a stone-edged lily pond set in a small rectangular gravel terrace.
