The main border of the garden is a mixture of shrubs, roses and perennials. It was designed by plantsman Graham Stuart Thomas. There are also lawns and hedges of Yew and Hornbeam. The large orchard contains Medlars and Quinces.
Dogs on leads are permitted in the garden. It is possible to purchase plants. There is also parking and refreshments available.
